Although 2007 was one of the most challenging years for the home building community, there were still many accomplishments to celebrate.  On April 12, 2008 we honored Major Achievements in Merchandising Excellence – the MAME Awards.

HBACA members submitted entries for awards in 22 product categories this year ranging from best floor plans, to best interior design, best ad campaign, custom home of the year and many more. We also celebrated the achievements of the individuals selling new homes.  More than 250 people were recognized for their sales achievements, including 50 who did over $10 million each in sales in 2007.  Awards were presented to Rookies of the Year, Salespeople of the Year, Sales Manager of the Year, and the Top Ten Producers of 2007.

To cap off the evening, we presented Lifetime Achievement Awards to 24 people who have achieved a level of more than $50 million in sales throughout their career – a SPECtacular accomplishment indeed!
